    Athletic History: I began running and BMX racing when I was 6. I excelled at
    both cycling and running and raced both through high school. I also was a
    Nationally competitive Nordic skier. I ran in college at Adams State College
    under '88 and '08 USA Olympic National Team Coach Dr. Joe Vigil. I came to
    triathlon after becoming disenchanted with running in the spring of '98. I had
    been racing bikes pro, running pro and triathlon seemed like the logical
    progression. I only wish I had started triathlon earlier.

    Education: B.S. Exercise Science, University of Colorado

    Other Interests: Auto racing, my dad was a professional drag racer and I
    grew up on dragstrips across the country. I have always been and will always
    be a big fan of almost any type of auto racing, particularly, F1, NHRA,
    NASCAR, Moto-GP, Rally, etc.

    Real Football (ie Soccer), Cycling, Running, Swimming, Nordic Skiing, Tennis,
    even a little Golf. I am a fan of pretty much any sport other than Football,
    Basketball, and Baseball.
